I found Crucial IT Solutions recently while searching for IT repair services near where I live, in Roland, Iowa, that would also serve individuals rather than just businesses. John, the owner, was wonderful to work with. I inherited my late brother's laptop, which is only a few years old, and encountered the dreaded blue screen when I tried to get into the machine. John responded almost immediately to my service inquiry on his website form, and was responsive and communicative throughout the time he had the laptop. He was also very cost-conscious, looking for ways to minimize the cost to me for his service -- but he didn't skimp at all on expertise or effort. While the conclusion in my case (after multiple troubleshooting avenues) was that the solid-state hard drive was corrupted, John replaced the hard drive for free and prepped the laptop so I could give it to my 8-year-old son, which I'd asked him to do for me. I appreciated John's time, attitude, expertise and ease of working with, and I'll definitely contact him again when I have any issues or questions with my own laptop.
